Well, I just discovered a great magazine called Body & Soul. I got two free issues and I am sure I will be subscribing. They have a reader to reader section that I have a little excerpt from below, and they also have on the last page of each issue "Ten Thoughts on Whole Living" that gives you awesome thoughts to ponder! Here is a sample of the reader to reader section...they pose a question and get readers responses.
Question - "How do you feel "rich" in ways money can't buy? (Inner abundance!)
Sample answer - Take a moment to sit somewhere and watch the world around you. People watching from a city bench, or looking out your window while sitting at your kitchen table. Make a conscious effort to learn from what you see. Children do this naturally, and when you watch them do it, you see their faces light up! My interpretation of this - Look around you and think like a child when you do it! Just think about how that will change what you are looking at!
Do you have a story about "Inner Abundance"?

Thanks for the magazine tip - I will definitely check it out. An inner abundance experience I had recently was last Friday. Swimming in our high school pool on my lunch hour, I had the pool to myself and the room was half in the dark. I closed my eyes, swam and felt like I was back in my mother's womb - it was peaceful, surreal and spiritual.
As most of know I am over-weight, last year while walking the 3-day, many of my Breast Friends were concerned about me. My daughter, Mandy, was especially concerned. So she walked every step with me by my side, holding my hand, hugging, crying and laughing with me. She could have been hours ahead of me but choose to stay by my side. At one point her Dad called to see how we were doing. He asked how far ahead she was. I told him that she was right next to me the whole way. He was very proud of her. I told her what her dad said and she said, "I'm not doing this for me, I'm doing it for you." While we both walk so that no other child will ever know the pain and fear of letting go, it was a beautiful thing knowing that I was going to finish with Mandy by my side.
Mandy is a very AWESOME young lady. One of my favorite photos from the 3 Day is you and her walking with your arms around each other. We took it while walking behind you. While dealing with breast cancer is very tough, I have seen many lives transformed as they do with other life challenges. I am so glad to have met both of you..love & hugs to you!
