Here's something to think about....
Have you ever made a "Personal Life Statement"?? I actually made one many years ago while at a motivational (Real Estate) seminar! I have it on my bulletin board so that I see it every day. When I read it today, it made me smile, because I realized, at that moment, that my Personal Life Statement is really what I AM trying to do!! Imagine that!! It is just an affirmation about what you feel you'd like to accomplish in your lifetime and what's important. It can be business related, or personal, or a cross between both! I wanted to share mine with you, so here you go...
"To inspire and empower people to achieve a healthy lifestyle, inside and out, and to participate in and encourage people to give back to the world we live in, making it a better place!"
What about you? Are you ready to write a Personal Life Purpose Statement? :)

Rats! I would really like to go to Whole Foods but it is our volleyball tournament on the 24th & our first game is at 3. Maybe the next outing.

I never really thought of a Personal Life Statement before. I always thought I was doing good just by waking up every morning and facing another unforgiving day. But now that this is the Year of Cindy I have a new attitude. As Maggie would say and Attitude of Gratitude. I'm the type of person that "stuff" happens to. I am always in the line with the broken register. I frequently get flat tires. Recently, my washing machine flooded my laundry room right as I was on my out the door. Some say that I carry a little black rain cloud over my head. And yet I have never lost my sense of humor, it's who I am. When my mom was told that she was terminal, I refused to believe it. God, himself, could of came down and explained it to me and I still wouldn't have believed it. During my year of disbelieve, I lost my mother-in-law, my grandmother, two cousins, an uncle and my grandfather. I remember saying to a friend, "well, at least it can't get any worse". The next day I woke up and my mom's dog was dead. My mom died shortly after. Knowing a greater pain makes all the flat tires and other inconvienences of this world seem so futile. So, I now laugh when I have a bad day and I never say, "it can't get any worse"!
I have to say Cindy your sense of humor is one of the best! That is definately a blessing that you are able to bestow on others! As they say laughter is great medicine and works those abdominal muscles!
